The 2025 vintage ale has
"The 2025 vintage ale has a really deep rounded flavour with hints of resinous fruit and a slight taste of hazelnut on the aftertaste. This is a lovely ale and as usual I bought a second bottle to keep for a couple of years time so that I can see how the flavours develop."

The 2025 vintage ale has
"The 2025 vintage ale has an excellent flavour with fruit and a slight taste of hazelnut on the aftertaste. It is ready to drink but well worth standing a few in a cool dark store for a few years,"

Vintage Ale hits the spot@
"It's difficult to express how delicious this pokey 8.5% Vintage Ale is. A great brown glow greets the drinker from the glass, and the warmth of that first sip explodes with flavour with a good balance of hops and malt. This is a sitting down at home beer! One should be enough, but two certainly are! I've just finished the 2024 case - which improved in depth even in the short while it resided in my cupboard. The 2025 is just as good, of course, so I've bought 2 cases!"

The vintage ale is simply
"The vintage ale is simply wonderful. A rich, tasty beer that satisfies with each and every sip. The label says that it will be at its best in a couple of years time. But there’s no chance of it lasting that long!"

Very attractive aroma and flavourful
"Very attractive aroma and flavourful ale to be sipped and savoured rather than gulped, of course. On my pallet, slightly more bitter than Golden Pride which is my favourite though ESB is a strong contender as an alternative lighter ale accompanying the evening meal."
— Basil G. (4/5)
A special treat
"Every vintage is a little bit different from the last one and 2025's is full bodied and very moreish."
— Lorraine G. (5/5)
I can’t rate this ale
"I can’t rate this ale highly enough. Expensive yes but in my opinion worth the extra cost."

I haven’t tasted it yet
"I haven’t tasted it yet as you recommend saving it until 2029. As with the 2026 Vintage, saved until 2030."
