Reviews

The best of its type, by far

"Old Winter is one of my favourite ales. Strong and full-bodied, I have never tasted a beer so appropriate for the season and I always associate Old Winter with Christmas in particular. Full of warmth, lovely nose and subtle undertones, yet thirst quenching and can be enjoyed all year round. Don’t miss this very special ale - you won’t find better !"

Very pleased with my purchase.

"Very pleased with my purchase. It's so good, the DHL courier nicked the first box that was sent! They've obviously got good taste as well. This issue was quickly resolved and a second box was dispatched which made it to me... thankfully!"

— Matthew I. (5/5)

"You need to stop using DHL as your chosen courier. The driver just threw my boxes of beer over my threshold and ran off without a signature and then claims that somebody called "David" signed for the delivery. This could lose you customers and I will think twice about using Fullers again"

Certainly NOT , just another Winter's ale!!

"This has become one of my regular pleasures, apart from a very hot summer's day, so probably 11 months of the year then!!🤔 A 5.2 % pint which goes down very well! Another Fullers successful creation! 😍✅😊👍™️"

Old Winter Ale

"A strong winter ale with a complex taste that to me suggested gingerbread and spice. Best drank at room temperature rather than chilled to get the best depth of flavour."

— Alan H. (5/5)

Excellent deep flavoured ale -

"Excellent deep flavoured ale - just perfect for the cold, dark nights by the fire with friends. Just ordered in for this winter after the success last winter"

— David W. (5/5)

A spicy Winter brew

"A ale with a good body a spicy note of warmth coming off the tongue, a bite at the back of the throat as it goes down . Not to be rushed! Enjoy 😀🍻"

— Peter H. (5/5)

Have not opened any of

"Have not opened any of my order yet but I bought some last year which I enjoyed very much. I have asked you before about a special Christmas ale something like that of Shepherd Neame which would also be something to look forward to."
