Description

Brewed under the watchful eye of our Griffin since the 1950s, London Pride is unmistakably London's beer. With its well-rounded flavour and rich history, everything about this authentic, characterful beer binds it to our capital city and the people who love it.

Brew Notes

This tawny-coloured premium ale borrows sweet raisin, biscuit and dried-fruit notes from the Crystal malt, while fresh, piney herbs emanate from the hops. Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness

Reviews

The original and best.

"Way before micro brewers and tasting notes London Pride was the cask ale of choice for many Londoners. There is a reason that London Pride continues to go from strength to strength. A perfectly balanced ale with a lovely fruity taste. Living in Yorkshire, getting my cans delivered is an ideal way of getting my favourite beer."

I'm 72 and have been

"I'm 72 and have been drinking Fullers beers whenever possible since I was first allowed to in 1972. I'm pleased to say that consistent quality and taste has been the reason. The London Pride 500ml can is a very satisfying drink of beer. It still hits the spot for me and the fact it is delivered to my door straight from the brewery is brilliant. The cans seem to travel better than the bottles."

Can Design

"I was surprised to see a redesign of the can it’s not long since it was done, you have to be careful of making it look cheap Red and Gold has to be a careful balance but it’s certainly stands out on the shelf personally I would think it would be classy in dark blue with the gold highlights all in all it’s the beer that counts 😊"

Quality session beer in a

"Quality session beer in a sensible sized tin. Bit disappointed that strength seems to have been reduced over the years but accept this is down to Government taxes."

Great beer

"Almost as good as from a hand pump. Great value and delivered to the door every month. Excellent service from the online shop team of Ellie & Chloe too."

Love this beer. My go

"Love this beer. My go to session beer. Strange thing is, even without the middle man, it's dearer buying direct than from Sainsbury's"

"A very tasty ale, the 500ml cans are ideal. Hard to pick up and stores in the Southwest so ordering online is just the ticket"

My father-in-law introduced me to

"My father-in-law introduced me to London Pride in cans and reckoned it was the best beer and best value you could get. Having now run the necessary tests on a few hundred, I can't find any reason to disagree with him. One should always respect one's elders and betters, but I'm glad I put in the hard yards just to make sure he was right."
