Interesting flavour. It’s an ok beer!

"Being described as being influenced by American IPA craft ales. I wonder if this is a mixed metaphor for what originally was a British beer sent to India for the British Army stationed there. It was sedimented to enable it to continue conditioning on the sea journey and so that it was in prime condition when consumed. Perhaps this should be titled American Native Indian pale ale or ANIPA for short, to avoid confusion."

IPA meets BarleyWine?

"A definite Christmas brew?"

Sensational

"As a regular drinker of supermarket IPAs I was shocked at how good this was. This compares very favourably to the legend that is Vintage Ale and I would welcome an annual version just as we get with Vintage."

— Ian J. (5/5)

Usually i leave a beer

"Usually i leave a beer like this in the bottle a little longer. But it’s great to have English hops at the fore"

— Barry F. (4/5)

Another great beer from Fullers.

"Another great beer from Fullers. A splendid full and rounded flavour with hints of pepper"

Saving for future consumption

"I’ve not actually tried this yet, I’m storing my 4 bottles 1 for Yule and the others for a few years. BBD is October 2036"

— Steve T. (5/5)
