"None of the beers (from other brewers) taste the way I remember them from the 1970s. The breweries have been taken over and everything no doubt changed in the name of profit. Not so Fullers. ALL Fullers beers are as good as ever, top quality and full of flavour. Especially ESB. Can't recommend them highly enough. Fullers continues to be my go-to place for real beer."

"These strong ales are just perfect for a winter drink. They are all massively full-bodied with more-ish mouthfeel. Even the super strong Golden Pride (8. 4%abv) manages to maintain a great balance of bitter and sweetness - really delicious. ESB must be one of the best ruby ales you can buy, 1845 is just a little build on top of that - London Porter is a really classic chocolaty stout. I really can’t praise this selection too highly."
