Black Cab Stout abv 4. 5
"Black Cab Stout abv 4. 5 bottled. Nearly as black as a cab ! Hoppy chocolatey not too carbonated so smooth bitter and a bit fruity. Plenty of tan coloured head on this one. It has the Fullers family flavour profile but lighter than Porter. A really lovely nod to the black can and its place in London history."

A full malty brew
"A lovely complex stout in the mouth, The first flavour that hits is roast malts, followed by a lovely earthiness from the hops. There are obviously coffee notes with mild chocolate and a little liquorice too. All these flavours are complemented by a pleasant sweetness, with hints of caramel and dark fruits, leading to a well-balanced and satisfying dry, mildly bitter finish. The hops in this contribute some great flavours and complement the rich, roasted malt character of the stout without overpowering it."

Very good stout and it
"Very good stout and it beats the big names. However, I prefer a stronger flavour more common in related drink Porter and stout can also have that or it would be 5 stars"

An outstanding stout; rich, dark,
"An outstanding stout; rich, dark, with a lasting creamy head. A proper drink compared with a lot of the better known stouts. Once tried, you are hooked."

How stout should taste
"Absolutely delightful to drink, dark very dark full bodied old fashioned stout . Best I’ve tasted you can forget Guinness from now on. Black Cab all the way , looking forward to cook my steak and kidney puddings."

Great example of a stout.
"Great example of a stout. Rich and heavy. A greater ‘inbetweener’ of famous nitro stouts and my preferred London Porter"

"It was a present for my husband, he really likes this beer. Not many really good dark beers available especially at this time of year."
