I'm not at all good at saying how whatever beer has a lingering taste of whatever with overtones of whatnot, but this is darkish coppery colour, generous malt, hint of sweet, but not too much, balanced out by hops. It ticks all the boxes, including one marked "absolute satisfaction". To be drunk with a little (!) discretion."
"I am a big fan of HSB, so decided to check out ESB for a change. ESB is richer, darker and stronger than HSB and more of a slow pint. Very enjoyable. Great with a ploughman’s salad with some Stilton, or mature cheddar, if your not a Stilton fan. Will be ordering both ESB and HSB moving forward 🍻"
