A Lovely Drop

"these vintage ales just seem to get better. This is probably the most palatable ale I've drank in a while, and at 8.4% ... it needs a bit of respect. Not a session ale, but a very comforting enjoyable drink, to be savored rather than quaffed. Keep up the grand work. Since Adnams rebranded and unfortunately ruined my favourite ale 'Broadside', I've been on a mission to find a suitable replacement ... and this is the closest I've tasted. Vin2. jpg is an AI representation of the same image. Out of this world perhaps."

I get rich dried fruits,

"I get rich dried fruits, dates, figs, sweet grain and cereal malts, molasses, biscuit, caramel. Colour to me is clear, dark gold, small, creamy, beige head. Medium sweet. 私のお勧めです!"

This is a truly delicious

"This is a truly delicious rendition of vintage ale. One that i would highly recommend any lover of this ale to stock up on. The half dozen bottles i have opened so far have been consistent in their flavour which is less malty than 2025 with a nice head forming and mouth watering aromas. I have set aside some to age alongside my collection of previous years, which also do not disappoint, the 2016 i tasted recently was fabulous."

This is the best time

"This is the best time of year, as it is when this year’s Vintage Ale is released. As usual (although usual is not a word that should really used for this ale), it is superb! The problem is buying it in sufficient quantities. “I’ll just try one”, becomes “I’ll have to try another one, especially as I’ve got a new glass to go with it”. I suppose I’ll have to invest in another few. Excellent work, Fullers!"

My special brew

"Every year I wait for the release of this drop of ale It hits all the notes, top to bottom of the glass it was poured in to! This ale is not to be rushed a sip at a time with a time gap between each sip in order for you to focus on the flavours it offers 😘Cheers🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿"

Awesome as ever

"Once again Fullers produce the annual Vintage Ale and as ever, what a fantastic beer. I was fortunate to try it on draft at the brewery shop yesterday and it is simply awesome"

— Martin C. (5/5)

Haven’t tried it yet but

"Haven’t tried it yet but going by all the previous years, I’ve tasted nearly all of them, I’m certainly in for a treat. I’ve got almost the full set of unopened bottles. How would I go about filling in the missing years? I haven’t got, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2017. Do you hold past years that you release for sale? Thank you Fullers for your excellent beers!"

— Martin R. (5/5)

Fuller's at their best

"As ever, the annual treat of Vintage Ale does not disappoint. The nose has overtones of liquorice for me. The beer is typically malt forward in Fuller's style, this time with caramel predominant, and an almost mushroom/truffle umami hint. I tend to drink one in the year of production, then wait a few years before trying it again, as they invariably age well. Already a smooth, lovely pint, this promises to be worth the wait!"

— T G. (5/5)

Another delicious year.

"Deep amber colour. Full fruit aroma. Rich full flavour, incredibly well balanced. None of the savage bitterness of IPA. I could drink this all year."

— David K. (5/5)

Great taste comparable to the

"Great taste comparable to the 2025 vintage, relatively sweet fulsome flavours that linger on the tastebuds inviting another taste. Good time of the year to enjoy a good beer as the nights draw in settling down with a good book to read."
