Excellent- my favourite bottled beer.
"Fullers 1845 has been my favourite bottled beer for many years. Strong, with lots of flavour from the bottle conditioning. Despite its strength an easy drinking beer too. No longer available in our local supermarkets, I recently ordered some direct from Fullers. Excellent service with prompt delivery. Will definitely order again."

"An iconic ale brewed to celebrate the brewery's 150th anniversary. Comes in a mahogany colour and has a balanced taste of dried fruits, the rare use of amber malts and a long dry finish, thanks to the use of East Kent Goldings. In fact, this may be my favourite Fuller's beer."

"My Nan bought me a bottle of this about 15 years ago. I tried to buy it in the shops but could never find it. I then found out that Fullers sell it online. Best beer ever. Best Nan ever. Both now sadly gone, but I can at least buy more beer."

This is the best real
"This is the best real ale I have ever tasted. Discovered it many, many years ago and thought, this is the one! Been buying it ever since and will continue to do so as long as Fullers keep brewing it. Fullers, please don't ever change the recipe or the strength of this wonderful beer."

As an aging Northerner, my
"As an aging Northerner, my youthful experience of London beers during football visits sadly confirmed an existing prejudice. Then 40 years ago 'London Pride' magically appeared in one of my favourite Sheffield pubs-lovely stuff! Now to the point. 1845 is a marvellous bottled beer. Most definitely not a session beer. It's something to sup gently with proper appreciation. I found it to be very happy. It felt in my mouth as if it was stimulating my salivary glands, or maybe that was a mere sensation. A very pleasant sensation. Very hoppy but perfectly balanced by the clearly generous and quality malt in this beer. This is a beer to be drunk and tasted when you fancy a treat. Lovely Jubbly."

"Excellent dark, full-bodied ale with a fabulous rich taste. And an alcohol content which gives enough - but not too much - of a buzz!"

"1845 has to be one of my all-time favourite beers. Strong and complex, but well-rounded with a delicious malty taste – absolutely delicious!"
