An easy drinking stout, smooth
"An easy drinking stout, smooth and easy to swallow. A nice hint of chocolate in the taste. There is no unpleasant aftertaste. The bottle suggests serving it chilled. Excellent advice and you still get all the flavours."

Very nice beer. Always partial
"Very nice beer. Always partial to a nice glass of stout. Stylish glass bottle a great design matched by substance of the beer. Not as velvety as a more famous cousin though stands on its own merit with lovely dark flavours. Be great to see it more widely available."

5 Star London Stout
"I tried this on a tour of the brewery, it is now a firm favourite that and a pint of Fullers London Porter 🍺 by the way, the Fullers Brewery tour was excellent, highly recommended if your visiting the Chiswick area of London! 😎"

one of the better ones
"Black Cab pours a near jet-black colour with hints of coffee, chocolate and roasted malts on the nose. Dark in the glass, it's lighter on the palate – with red berry notes and mild hops meeting chocolatey, malty character on the way to a delicious dry finish."

I first tasted this clear
"I first tasted this clear dark red beer, well over a decade ago, and it still hits the spot. It has a large, creamy and long lasting head. The roasted malt aromas are paired with some notes of caramel. It's sweet, malty, together with some with some lasting coffee hints. Not as heavy as the big well known Irish stout, but this is much more of an easy drink, rather than a meal. Hope this all helps !"
